PokerPlayer have announced a new UK tour consisting of 6 low buyin, low runner events. This was taken from their promo..."Our high-quality dealer-dealt £110 buy-in tournaments will take place at five fantastic Gala Casino venues across the UK from April, bringing the PokerPlayer community together under one roof for plenty of laughs, lots of action and thousands of pounds in prize money! Each event is capped at 120 runners and promises merchandise giveaways, PokerPlayer staff bounties, side events, a free buffet and much, much more."
Event 1 takes place in April, in non other than BRISTOL ! It'll be at Gala Harbourside and I'll be playing. I qualified last night in a satty that had an overlay of about $1.1k worth of seats.
PokerPlayer ran a number of gtd seat tourneys on Gala/Coral Poker. Last nights was a $33 with 12 seats Gtd. Therefore to meet the gtd they needed roughly 72 runner, the tourney only got 37 lol. So a silly overlay. Low and behold I took down a seat and am looking forward to playing the event.
It's a ranking event so a chance to pad out my Hendon Mob profile. It's a 7.5k starting stack on a 30min clock and capped at 120 players so a fast structure.
